Multiple Class G-Networks with Jumps back to Zero

چکیده
We consider multiple class G-networks of processor sharing queues with negative customers which destroy all the customers in a queue. We prove that these networks have a product form solution for steady-state distribution. These networks may have some applications in reliability or performability as the negative customers may clearly model breakdown of computer or communication systems. We also show that under simple assumptions these networks always have a stationary distribution. Finally, we present some asymptotic results on the average number of customers and the average sojourn time when the arrival rate goes to innnity.

MODELLING AND ANALYSIS OF A DISCRETE-TIME PRIORITY QUEUING COMPUTER NETWORK WITH PRIORITY JUMPS USING PROBABILITY GENERATING FUNCTIONS
Priority queues have a great importance in the study of computer communication networks in which different types of traffic require different quality of service standards. The discrete-time non-preemptive priority queuing model with priority jumps is proposed in this paper. On the basis of probability generating functions mean system contents and mean queuing delay characteristics are obtained....
متن کاملOn Robust Stability of Limit Cycles for Hybrid Systems With Multiple Jumps
In this paper, we address stability and robustness properties of hybrid limit cycles for a class of hybrid systems with multiple jumps in one period. The main results entail equivalent characterizations of stability of hybrid limit cycles for hybrid systems. The hybrid limit cycles may have multiple jumps in one period and the jumps are allowed to occur on sets. Conditions guaranteeing robustne...
متن کاملStochastic functional population dynamics with jumps
In this paper we use a class of stochastic functional Kolmogorov-type model with jumps to describe the evolutions of population dynamics. By constructing a special Lyapunov function, we show that the stochastic functional differential equation associated with our model admits a unique global solution in the positive orthant, and, by the exponential martingale inequality with jumps, we dis...
متن کاملM1, M2, ..., Mk/G1, G2,..., Gk/l/N Queue with Buffer Division and Push-Out Schemes for ATM Networks (RESEARCH NOTE)
In this paper, loss probabilities and steady state probabilities of data packets for an asynchronous transfer mode (ATM) network are investigated under the buffer division and push-out schemes. Data packets are classified in classes k which arrive in Poisson fashion to the service facility and are served with general service rate under buffer division scheme, finite buffer space N is divided in...

The main objective of this paper is to use ant optimized neural networks to generate artificial earthquake records. In this regard, training accelerograms selected according to the site geology of recorder station and Wavelet Packet Transform (WPT) used to decompose these records. Then Artificial Neural Networks (ANN) optimized with Ant Colony Optimization and resilient Backpropagation algorith...
